Obituary

Carolyn K. DeBruyne, 79, of Mishawaka, passed away Saturday, May 14, 2022, at St. Joseph Regional Medical Center.

Carolyn was born November 25, 1942 in Fort Wayne. She grew up in Fort Wayne and has lived many years in Mishawaka.

Carolyn retired from Power Components in Mishawaka. She enjoyed bowling and at one time bowled on a league. Carolyn also liked fishing and river rafting. Her favorite activity was caring for her yard and flowers.

Carolyn is survived by her husband, James DeBruyne; two daughters, Lynette (Dan) Ciula and Dawn Mercer; a brother, Christopher (Kelley) Marciniak; a sister, Jacqueline Wolfe; and several grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Carolyn was preceded in death by her mother, Marian Anita Marciniak; her father, William Wolfe; two sons, Mark Mercer and Steven Bowering; and a brother, William Wolfe.

Carolyn will be privately buried at Fairview Cemetery, Mishawaka. There will be no formal services.

Arrangements are under the care of Goethals & Wells Funeral Home, Mishawaka.
