Edward grew up in Mishawaka, then moved to South Bend where he lived with his pride and joy Dolly for 62 years. He was a member of St. Jude Catholic Church. Edward had several jobs throughout his life which included delivering milk, managing McDonalds for over 25 years, and then working at a local factory.
Most of all, Edward will be remembered for his love of family and friends. He loved to listen to and dance ("Just look at us") with his beautiful bride to polka music. He loved to watch wrestling on TV, huge Notre Dame football fan, and loved to cook. His favorite phrases were "If you got time to lean, you got time to clean" and "I'll get over it!"
Don't remember me with sadness, don't remember me with tears,
Remember all the laughter, we've shared throughout the years.
Now I am contented, that my life it was worthwhile,
Knowing that I passed along the way, I made somebody smile.
When you are walking down the street, and you've got me on your mind,
I'm walking in your footsteps, only half a step behind.
So please don't be unhappy, just because I'm out of sight,
Remember that I'm with you, each morning, noon and night.
Always loved, Forever missed, Never forgotten.
Love from your daughters, Linda and Debbie, your "Golden Girls!"
