He was a master of his craft and a magician with a menu.
He is survived by his mother and stepfather, Rhonda and Chris Atkinson and his children, Dylan, Cameron, Marissa, Isabella, Olivia and Vivian Jenks, all of Mishawaka, and his siblings Noah and Matthew Atkinson and Michele Wegner of Paragould, AR, and Paulita Hernandez of South Bend. In his spare time, Jeramy enjoyed playing golf, fishing and ice fishing, and watching Notre Dame football, the Chicago Cubs, and the Chicago Bears. He enjoyed cooking and tailgating in his garage with his friends during many games.
Most of all, Jeramy will be remembered for his love of friends and family. He always chose to find the good in others and never met a stranger. He seemed to form a bond with all he met and it was hard for him to leave the house without running into an old friend. His wonderful sense of humor, his smile and laugh, and his generous and caring nature will be missed by those whom he loved so dearly.
