Mark Edward Wasowski, age 62 of Mishawaka, passed away unexpectedly at his home on October 23, 2022. Mark was born July 1, 1960, in South Bend, Indiana to Edward and Louise (Amato) Wasowski. He was a graduate of LaSalle High School and worked as a cosmetologist in local beauty salons for several years.
Surviving is his mother Louise Wasowski of Mishawaka, his daughters Tuesday ((Jimmy) Bernhard and Tabitha Thurston, both of South Bend, and his siblings Dan (Cindy) Wasowski of Wildwood, Missouri, and Larry (Jerrianne) Wasowski of Queen Creek, Arizona. Surviving as well are his grandchildren Alyssa, James “J.J.” Jr., Caiden, Leviathan, Emma and Sarena.
There will be a private memorial service for Mark at a later date. Goethals and Wells Funeral Home and Cremation Care of Mishawaka has been entrusted with his care.
Mark enjoyed playing golf, listening to music, and watching movies. He also loved sports and was an avid fan of the Chicago Bears and the Chicago Bulls.
He will be remembered for his generosity and his heart of gold. No matter what the circumstances, when someone needed help, Mark gave of his time and money to make sure they were cared for.
Most of all, Mark loved his family, especially his grandchildren. He truly enjoyed spending time with each of them and was proud of the young men and women they are becoming.
